"I Just Don't Have Time!" - Sound Familiar?

“I just don’t have time!”…

I hear these 5 words often when I start working with 1-on-1 clients.

They’ve usually been to a few therapists, practitioners or have been trying to self-care for years! Yet still having the same problems!

When clients realise the power, they have at their fingertips and how they can incorporate amazing strategies like EFT Tapping into their life as it is now though, they soon make it priority #1

To help you out, here is one of my 3-step plans that supports the integration of EFT into your daily life.

Step 1: Learn the Basics

  • Educate Yourself: Start by learning the basics of EFT tapping. Even though there are over 45 different ways to use EFT, you can start with the basic 5 step recipe that you can use to provide relief immediately! Don’t let the unknown stop you! And certainly, don’t let the comparison of your basic skills to the mastery of a good Clinical EFT Practitioner keep you stuck in the mindset of ‘I can’t do it right’ – Every tap counts!

Step 2: Create a Daily Routine

  • Set Aside Time: Dedicate a specific time each day for tapping. This could be in the morning to start your day positively or in the evening to wind down. It’s always a good idea to also attach your Tapping practise to something that you already do. For eg; You could tap after every time that you brush your teeth.
  • Start Small: Begin with a short session, around 2-5 minutes. Focus on a single issue or stressor to keep it simple and manageable. Your skills with evolve over time.

Step 3: Monitor and Adjust

  • Track Your Progress: Keep a journal to note the issues you work on, your initial and subsequent intensity ratings (you will learn about this working with me if you don’t know what the SUD’s are already), and any changes you notice. It’s always good to acknowledge your progress and celebrate how far that you’ve come. Your brain & body LOVES a good Dopamine hit and when we celebrate our achievements (no matter how small) you get to feel the physiological effects of this!
  • Adjust as Needed: Based on your progress, adjust the duration or frequency of your tapping sessions. There is no right or wrong! If certain issues require more attention, allocate more time to those & seek professional help when needed.

By following these steps, you can effectively incorporate EFT tapping into your daily routine, helping to manage stress and emotional challenges that arise – EVERY TAP COUNTS! 💜
